For our BLAST-SAFE-Cement Technology Centre Western & Southern Europe (HTC WSE) we are seeking to recruit a Senior Project Manager (f/m/d). This position reports to the Team Leader Project Management and is located in Bremen, Germany.

- Project study
- study and evaluate various technical solutions and scenarios
- calculate profitability of various investment scenarios with their related investment and operation costs (IRR, NPV, EVA)
- propose the best technical and economical solution
- Project management
- lead the project according to internal procedures
- guide the project with responsibility in terms of plant design, quality, cost and time
- manage project team
- ensure an efficient project reporting system to the Steering Committee
- Project execution
- prepare bid documents and the technical specifications
- evaluate tenders and select suppliers
- negotiate contracts
- review of plant design
- follow-up on and coordinate suppliers and construction work
- assure achievement of the project safety requirements and targets
- conduct commissioning and performance tests
- hand-over of investment assets to a plant
- Provide plant employees, trainees and engineers with necessary technical trainings
- Proactively manage health & safety of employees to continuously improve the company’s health & safety performance
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor degree in engineering
- Minimum 15 years professional experience in the field of project management in cement industry
- Experience in conducting studies including IRR, NPV, EVA
- Experience in management of projects
- Understanding of contractual matters (negotiation and legal aspects)
- Good knowledge of investment marketing pricing and cost awareness
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and project management, problem solving
and creativity, strategic thinking and decisiveness - Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages is of advantage
